"DUTY, HONOR, COUNTRY! These were never words to me, they were my way of life in the military. General Douglas MacArthur was so correct when he stated, "Old Soldiers Never Die, They Just Fade Away." Yet they continue to live in the hearts of every American in our Great Nation. They continue to live in every National Cemetery and many private cemeteries through out our Country. They continue to live in the Tombs of the Unknowns. They continue to live, with their names listed, on the Wall! They continue to live in every memorial built in their memory all over our land! Our Soldiers, from every branch of service will never die; they will live on forever, in hearts, minds and history books! Jerry D. Ritter |
There can be no greater honor than the privilege of serving our country. In war and peace from the four corners of the earth we dedicate our lives to the preservation of our cherished liberty and Freedom for which so many made the supreme sacrifice. May this memorial always stand tall and reflect HONOR, COURAGE and COMMITMENT upon all who serve. Carl R. Isaacks |
